PT. Teleradiologi Center Indonesia (PT TCI) marked a major milestone in Indonesia’s healthcare sector by hosting a scientific seminar titled “Revolutionizing Radiology: Advancing Teleradiology with AI to Combat the TB Crisis in Indonesia” and officially launching the nation’s first teleradiology center.
The event brought together over 1,000 radiologists from across Indonesia, as well as key representatives from the Ministry of Health, the Indonesian Society of Clinical Radiology Specialists (PDSRKI), HIPTEK, and international radiology experts from South Korea and Japan.
Prof. Dr. dr. Aziza G. Icksan, President Director of PT TCI, stated, “Indonesia is currently facing a severe shortage of radiologists, while TB cases remain the second highest in the world. This seminar and the launch of our first teleradiology center represent a concrete step forward in addressing this public health crisis.”
